I had a wedding shower over the weekend. The bride designed her own invites so I knew she would appreciate one of my wedding invite collages. Her color is Tiffany Blue and she will be wearing her Mom’s headpiece that has daisies on it.
I cut the flowers on the Cricut using SVG Cuts 3D Mums and Fall Flowers Digi Cart. I am loving my Cuttlebug embossing machine. I embossed the centers of the daisies. The light blue is a piece of vellum I put through the Cuttlebug and it all sits on an embossed white paper. Swirls are from the Swirlies Digi Cart.
When the bride-to-be opened the collage she exclaimed “Oh My God” so I am happy that she was happy!

Grad Collage
I guess you can do a collage for just about any occasion! Here is a collage that features a graduation announcement. I cut the backgrounds from the Memory Garden Digi Cart from SVG Cuts. The grad scroll is a freebie from 3/27/09.
I added some Gradient Gems & Gem Brads from Creative Charms . Learned a trick on this one - I had the collage all together and wanted to add the brads. I just took some wire cutters and snipped off the back of the brad and hot glued them down. I used an 8"x8" shadowbox frame from Joanns for this one.

June Deal of the Month Projects
Here are a few pages I did using Creative Charms products from the June Deal of the Month. Stop on by the Creative Charms site to take advantage of this Deal. The selection is perfect for scrapping your spring & summer photos!
This first one is a sketch challenge on the SVG Cuts site. The challenge is to do a page about yourself.
A few closeups...
This second page features a photo of my son and my great niece. Title is “Fav Cuz?” Even though they look like they are best buddies my little guy takes a beating from his younger cousin but still loves her. Love the felt butterfly and flowers from the June Deal of the Month. I added some hand stitching to the layout.
A few close up looks...
Enjoy your first Day of Summer!

Retirement Collage
Hope you had a great holiday weekend! I sure did!
I’ve been on a collage kick lately. It seems to snowball. I took the wedding invite collage into work and someone asked if I could do 2 Retirement Collages. Why not? I cut the word “Retirement” using SCAL and the Cricut. I printed out a word for each letter of the word. Relax, Enjoy, Travel, etc.
Added the retiree’s name and employment dates along with the company logo. Added a few Creative Charms embellishments and here you have it!
Some the elements are from SVG Cuts Memory Garden Digi Cart. Love this collection - it has a lot of elements that are so versatile. Background p paper is from Bo Bunny. Frame is 10x10 from Joanns.
Goes to show you that one project leads to another!
