Strike Up Some Fun Layout

My son had a fun 12th Birthday Party in 2017 at the local Bowling Alley. He had a blast with all his friends. I'm sharing the layout of the party on the Miss Kate Cuttables Blog today.

Before we check out my layout make sure you grab the freebie of the day!

I used the Strike Up Some Fun Cut file from Miss Kate Cuttables for my layout.

Here's a close up look at the title. Since the color scheme was blue for the party I matched my papers in the title. I used the brown wood grain paper in the background to simulate the bowling lanes.

Here is the full two page layout. Give it a click to get closer look.

I used the large bowling pin and added my journaling to it with the pen tool from my Cameo.
I also cut the bowling ball from some funky blueish green paper I had in my stash - kinda resembles the balls at the alley.

Party Time Layout

Hope you had a Happy National Scrapbook Day yesterday and hope you had the opportunity to scrap some of your favorite photos.

I'm sharing over on the Miss Kate Cuttables Blog today and have a Birthday layout to share with you today but first just a reminder to grab the freebie of the day from Miss Kate Cuttables.

Here is my Party Time Layout. I did a two page layout.

Here is the title I used - it's called Party Time Title.

Instead of using the swirls surrounding the title I decided to scatter them throughout the layout.

Here is a close up of my Title:

Miss Kate files are so easy to paper piece!
Here's a look at the swirl cut - I tucked it under my photos.

10th Birthday Layout

Hello and thanks for stopping by my blog today. I created this fun layout of my son's 10th Birthday Party.

I got the inspiration from a Facebook Group called Scrapbook Layouts

For the left side I cut a one. I did the journaling inside the one with the pen tool on my Cameo. Love journaling with my pen tool!
I did a key at the bottom listing out all the kids who attended the party.

For the right side of the page I cut a zero and placed the photos. I designed it my self and got the inspiration from a camping layout in the FB group I'm in. I added numbers for the key.

If you're interested in the circle SVG just send me an email at amysmccabe@comcast.net.
I'd be happy to send it your way.

Thanks for stopping by today!

NSD EP Challenge #1

Hey - Hope you had a great National Scrapbooking Day yesterday! I hit the craft room and decided to play along with some challenges over on the Echo Park Blog.

First challenge was to make a Summer Time Card.
I used Echo Park's  Paradise Beach. The sentiment is from a digi kit I picked this past week for One Buck Wednesday called Birthday Boy.

The popsicle card is from the SVG Cuts latest  ~ Fruity Fiesta SVG Kit.

I used the Trendy Twine color of the month ~ Tickled with Teal. I used actual popsicle sticks.
I have another Challenge project to share with you....coming soon!
