SVG Cuts 12 Days ~ Day 8

I just love both the SVG Cuts  O Holy Night SVG Kit along with the O Holy Night Stamp Set from Punkin’ Patch Stamps. I made this cute tag/card for Day 8. It opens up like a card.

The tag base and scallop shape are from SVG Cuts Attic Treasures SVG Kit.

I recently coordinated cards for my church and these stamps were perfect.
We created 60 cards for soldiers overseas and sent them the cards with lots of goodies packed into a box.

SVG Cuts is having a Jinger Adams Giveaway today. Her products look wonderful.

Have a great day! It is my last day in the office ~ looking forward to my loooooong Christmas break.

SVG Cuts 12 Days ~ Day 7

Hey there - I am giving out alot of gift cards this year so thought I would make some cute holders for them. We are on day 7 of the SVG Cuts 12 Days of Christmas. Today my project features both the Punkin’ Patch Stamps and Flair from Paper Play Studios.

These are Gift Card Holder/Ornaments from SVG Cuts - Give a Gift Card SVG Kit.

On the top one I used flair from Paper Play Studios and on the bottom one I used a stamp from Punkin’ Patch Stamps (sister site to SVG Cuts). I accented the cuts with my white gel pen.

See you tomorrow!

Gathering Memories

Hopefully you will have many Happy Gathering Memories this Thanksgiving!
Here is a look at the Fall ATC I created for the latest swap over in the SVG Cuts Forum.

It was super fun to make. The little owl is from SVG Cuts Acorn Autumn SVG Kit.
I cut the Stampable on my Sizzix Eclips and stamp from Punkin’ Patch Stamps - Heirloom Traditions.

Twine is from Trendy Twine and they are having a Many Thanks Challenge
I used a thin line of Tombow Mono Aqua Liquid Glue on the back of the card and added the twine.
When that was dry I turned the card over and did the same on the front. Worked perfect!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Many thanks for stopping by my blog!!

Witches Hats

Wow! Did I have fun with these witches hats. As I was playing with my new Epson 1430 printer I thought wonder what it would look like if I put a gray piece of cardstock in the printer when printing out my digital paper. I totally loved the look it gave it - almost a sort of vintage look.

This first one is entitled Carpe Nocterm.
Papers from Chillingsworth Manor -Digi from ~ Jessica Sprage
Witches Hat is from SVG Cuts ~ Gimme Candy Boxes SVG Kit, Banner from Happy Thanks SVG Kit

I added holes to the hat band and strung the Trendy Twine thru.
Going to enter their challenge and also Anything But A Card's Latest Challenge!

This one is called Oct 31st

Thought I'd show you how different it looks printing on the gray vs the white paper.
I love the look of the gray paper.

Here is a look at the top off the base - plenty of room for treats!

So that wraps up my Halloween Treats! What will be next? Maybe some Thanksgiving and then on to Christmas.

Valentine Bubble Gum Treats

So what ya working on this weekend? Valentine treats?
I made these Valentine Treats for my son’s first grade class.
They were so fast and easy to put together.

I picked up these Hubba Bubba Bubble Gums.
Cut the scallops on my Sizzix using SVG Cuts 24 Valentines SVG Kit. (Peace Sign)
I also cut circles in a few patterned papers.

I then cut the Stampables and stamped those using
Punkin’ Patch Stamps All You Need Is Love Stamps.
I printed a little message from my son and applied.

Hope you had a good week and wishing you a fun, crafty weekend!

Be My Valentine!

I had a blast creating these Valentine Boxes! I just love cutting on my Sizzix Eclips and assembling but have to say had just as much fun embellishing these with my Creative Charms.

I started with the boxes - they are from SVG Cuts ~ Bundle of Joy SVG Kit ~ Baby Block Box. I had room on the mat for the square accent pieces and cut everything and mixed them up. I assembled using my hot glue gun - my go to tool for 3D projects.

I then started to embellish with Creative Charms. I added some stamped images from Punkin’ Patch Stamps. They offer SVGs called Stampables. You cut them and stamp them. Have to say they are fun. I colored some of the stamped images in with my Copic Markers.

Here are the details of each box:

1 ~ Creative Charms Gradient Pearls ~ LOVE Stamp from Punkin’ Patch Stamps
2 ~ CC Gradient Gems ~ Be Mine from SVG Cuts, 24 Valentines
3 ~ Felt Hearts from CC ~ XOXO Stamp from PP Stamps
4 ~ Vintage Velvet Poppie in Pastel Pink from Creative Charms ~ Love Struck from PP Stamps
5 ~ CC Braided Daisy Medley in Pink ~ U.R. Cool from PP Stamps
6 ~ Felt Hearts from Creative Charms

Papers are from Basic Grey ~ Kissing Booth & Bo Bunny

If you have some special Valentines ~ make them a little box and fill with goodies, jewelry or something special!

More Treats for School

My son, Will, picked out mini candies for his classmates. I placed them in a bag and added a quick and easy tag. Made 22 of these in no time at all and we're all ready for the Christmas Party!

Here is a look:

I used Stamps from Punkin’ Patch Stamps ~ Holiday Traditions ~ for these along with their free Stampables. I imported the SVG for the Stampable into SCAL and cut a bunch of them:

I wanted to attach the stamped scallop shape to the bag and decided to do some work in SCAL.
I took the SVG from the Stampable and added a Shadow effect to it. (rounded 1.25) I then made a large circle using basic shapes and welded that to the scallop shape. I added a smaller circle inside the larger circle (do not weld this).

Here is what it looks like in SCAL:

Check to make sure it will cut okay by clicking Preview.

I cut these using AC Cardstock and adhered the stamped scallop on top and attached to the treat bag. Simple & Easy!

Candy Cane Treats

Well it is not even December and I already have the treats done for my sons’ classmates. Making treats for the class are one of my favorite things to do. I let my boys pick out what they wanted to give their classmates. My 6 year old son picked out these bright colored candy canes.

I decided to make some sleds using the candy canes as the runners. Here is a look at the cuts I used. I imported them into SCAL (Sure Cuts Alot). The sled is from SVG Cuts ~ Rockin Around the Christmas Tree SVG Collection. I used the base of the sled and also created a shadow version of it in SCAL. I imported the Stampable from the Holiday Tradition stamps from Punkin’ Patch Stamps.

I cut the shadow of the sled using some silver holographic paper. It had snowflakes and worked perfect!

Next I cut the sleds, tags and stampables. I used three different colors to match the candy canes.
I also picked out three different colors of twine from the Twinery.

I stamped my stampables using my Punkin’ Patch Stamps. I always cut extra just incase I mess up. Still mastering the art of stamping.

Next apply the stampables to the tags and attach the tags to the sled using the twine. Attach the sled to the sled base.

Next attach two candy canes to the bottom of each sled. I used wide packing tape to attach.

Punkin’ Patch Stamps is having a Cyber Monday Sale -Save 40% on your entire purchase and get FREE shipping if you buy two or more sets of stamps ~ Expires midnight Monday.

Stop back soon to check out what I did for my other son’s treats!

CC Fall Blog Hop

Welcome to the Creative Charms Fall Blog Hop!

If you are hopping over from Laura’s Blog you’re in the right place.
If you are just dropping by and want to start at the beginning,
start at the Creative Charms Blog.

I have a Halloween project to share with you. I put together special gifts for my sons’ teachers and created these tubs to hold everything. Each tub holds some comfy socks, candy, popcorn and a Target Gift Card so they can pick up a scary movie if they like. I also included a treat for their puppy. I added some clear wrap, bow & a tag to package it all up.

a closeup:

Once again my fellow SVG Cuts DT member Thienly, inspired me. Check out her movie theme Halloween party here. I sized the popcorn tub down a bit to accommodate the contents.

I used Vintage Jewel Brads, Vintage Halloween Self-Adhesive Metal Frames, & Gradient Gems from Creative Charms.

I used SVG Cuts Summer Blockbuster SVG Kit to create the tub - cut on my Cricut using SCAL. Stamps are from Punkin' Patch Stamps. Papers from Midnight Spell by DCWV.

Are you ready for your Christmas Crafting? How about a giveaway? Please follow me and leave me a comment before Sunday at 6pm. Plus you’ll have a chance to win one of the random Creative Charms giveaways by leaving a comment on my blog.

Introducing Stampables

So SVG Cuts and Punkin’ Patch Stamps are both owned by the wonderful Leo & Mary. They created the perfect combination....Stampables. You may be asked what are Stampables? Well I did a little project with stampables and here is how I did it.

Step 1 ~ I cut the candy wrappers from the latest SVG Cuts Kit ~ Party On Elm Street. I adjusted the size slightly to hold two Kit Kats instead of just one. Papers by DCWV Midnight Spell.

Step 2 ~ Got out my Trick or Treat Stamps from Punkin’ Patch Stamps and figured out which ones would fit nicely on my candy wrappers. Also got out my ink & blocks.

Step 3 ~ Imported my Free Stampable SVGs into SCAL and cut my AC Cardstock. I always cut extra - I am new to stamping and don’t have my technique perfected.

Step 4 ~ Stamped my paper.

Step 5 ~ Attached my stamped cutouts to my candy wrappers with some foam tape. And here is my final product.

Thanks for stopping by!
