Today It's my turn to share on my the Miss Kate Cuttable's Blog.
Before we check out the project just a reminder to grab the Freebie of the Week!

I made a wedding invitation shadowbox for my project.

I put a patterned paper as my background. I then cut the Decorative Square SVG.

I used the offset on my Cameo to create a background. Then I offset it again.
I added foam core under both shapes to add dimension.

I then added foam core under the invite and finished off with some embellishments.

New Release & Giveaway

Spring has sprung at Miss Kate Cuttables.
The flowers are in bloom and the days are longer.
Bunnies, baskets, chicks and eggs
are all signs that Easter is upon us.

Miss Kate Cuttables has a new Easter line of
 paper packs and die cuts.
These newly designed Easter papers and
die cuts includes all things Easter.
 Featuring baskets, flowers,
sweet little chicks and bunnies,
all in bright and airy colors.

The Miss Kate Cuttables design team will showcase
this paper pack for the next 3 days.

You can find the digital version of the
Easter Fun Paper Collection HERE.

Or, you can find the physical version
HERE on Amazon.

Easter Fun Die Cut Pack

You can find the matching
Easter Fun Die Cut Pack HERE.

Here's my first project:

I created a wooden sign using the Easter Title Banner for my project.
I took a 9.25" x 24" board and stained it. Next I added a dry brush coat of white chalk paint.

I then cut the Easter Title Banner
out of vinyl and applied to my sign.
I then painted with yellow chalk paint.
After some dry time I removed the vinyl stencil.

I cut the eggs from the Easter Fun Paper Collection and
EASTER from the Easter Title Banner  in brown paper.
I inked the edges of the patterned paper.

This next step is a game changer for me!
I applied a thin layer of modge podge on the back of my paper
and applied to my sign. I finished off with some button accents.
This is the first time I added paper to a wood sign
and it worked perfect!

For my second project I created a two page Easter Layout:

I used the Easter Fun Die Cut Pack.

For the right side of my layout I cut a large Geometric Easter Egg
and added papers behind it from the Easter Fun Paper Collection.

Hope you liked my projects!

Thanks to everyone who entered my giveaway!

Today I'm sharing my Halloween Layout I created for the Miss Kate Cuttables Designer Spotlight.

Have you seen the video featuring my layout and banner? If not click here to check it out.
(The layout is shared about 8 1/2 minutes into the video)

The main focus of my layout is the file called Witch Feet.
I used the plaid paper for her skirt.
I also added some stitching to the skirt and and around the border of the layout.

Giveaway Winners & Witch Hats & Another Giveaway!

Thanks to everyone who entered my giveaway!
I'm going to give each of you a $10 voucher! Woo Hoo! I'll be in touch with the details.

Today I'm sharing some Witch Hats I created.

I used the Miss Kate Cuttables Oct 31st Paper Pack to create these.

Here's a closer look at each hat.

This 3D hat opens up so you can stash some tasty treats in side.
The file is from SVG Cuts ~ Gimme Candy Boxes SVG Kit.

Please note - I added a coaster in between each layer of the brim of the hat - not really needed but I had a bunch in my stash :)

I made some of these a few years back in 2012 - here's a link to my blog post.
Really love the fun and colorful paper for this year's creations!

I have one more $10 Miss Kate Cuttables Voucher to give away!
Leave me a comment WITH YOUR EMAIL by Sunday Sept 30th and I'll announce the winner on Monday, Oct 1st!

Halloween Banner & Giveaway!

Hello there! I recently worked on some fun Halloween projects for Miss Kate Cuttables. I received the October 31st paper pack  in the mail (talk about happy mail!)
and created a banner and scrapbook layout.

I sent the projects to Kate and Jeff and they featured my projects on their YouTube channel.
Have you seen the video? If not click here to check it out.

They also featured a bunch of fabulous projects from fellow MKC design team member - Cathie Watt. Make sure you subscribe while you're there.

Here are the details on my banner project:

I used the Halloween frames for my project. The frames are featured on a few of the papers so thought it would be cool to cut those from the SVGs.
These first two panels feature the Halloween Bat Frame and Halloween Witch Shoe Frame.

The middle panel of my banner features the Halloween Witch Frame. I used an oval frame on the ends and in the middle and the round frames for the second and fourth to balance out the banner.

I used the Haunted House Frame and Halloween Spiderweb Frame.
I tried to use a patterned paper behind the frames but it was a bit busy so I decided to use color coordinated solid color stock behind the frames. I used a tag from this Tag Set for my panels.

I did make the panels about 8" so all the Halloween frames would cut clean. Added some ribbon and embellishments to finish it off. Here's my fireplace with the banner. Now it has a new home in Miss Kate's studio! I'll have to make another one for my home :)

To kick off the Halloween season, I'm having a giveaway!

Please leave me a comment by 9/23 noon with your email address and if I select your name I'll send you a code for a $10 voucher for Miss Kate Cuttables (can be used on SVGs only).

Stop back 9/24am and I'll announce the winner.

I'll share more Halloween projects and have another giveaway!

Mini Golf & Giveaway Winner

Happy Mother’s Day to all!

I have a Miss Kate Cuttables’ Design Team project to share with you today.
Here is my pocket page layout I created last week on National Scrapbook Day.

I love using the pen tool for my journaling.

The font is MK Tall & Skinny Font from Miss Kate Cuttables.

My title image with the golf green was too wide to fit into one of the pockets so I just trimmed it and placed into the second pocket too. I like how it turned out.

Last week I posted a GIVEAWAY!
Congrats to Josie0602
She wrote:
I love to make gift bags! I used Miss Kate's motorcycle
to make a onesie and matching bag. It was super cute!
She is the Winner of the $10 Miss Kate Cuttables’ Voucher.

I had so many comments on the Miss Kate Cuttables' Galleria Facebook Page
I decided to give away an additional $10 Voucher!
The winner from FB is Kelly C G

I'll be contacting both of you!
Thanks to everyone who entered and thanks for stopping by today!
Please stop over to the Miss Kate Cuttables Blog!
