I made a wedding invitation shadowbox for my project.

I put a patterned paper as my background. I then cut the Decorative Square SVG.

I used the offset on my Cameo to create a background. Then I offset it again.
I added foam core under both shapes to add dimension.

I then added foam core under the invite and finished off with some embellishments.

MKC Shamrock Challenge

It's Shamrock time over on the Miss Kate Cuttables Galleria Facebook Page! Shamrocks are the theme for this month's challenge.

For my project I created a super cute St. Patrick's Day shadowbox!

I featured the Irish Owl but left off the balloon. You can grab him here!

I use foam core under my cuts to lift them off the background so the shadows appear.

I also used several shamrocks and layered them and added buttons as accents.
Here's a closeup:

Hope you have a Happy St. Patrick's Day this week and join in the challenge!

Under The Sea Shadowbox

Hello ~ I made a fun shadowbox over the holidays for a sweet baby named Kora.
Her picture will go in the upper right portion. I'll share the Miss Kate Cuttables files I used for the rest of the shadowbox.

For the top portion I used the whale file.
In the bottom right of the shadowbox I used the Seahorse file.

This cute little Smiling Crab is featured at the bottom of my shadowbox.
I also used some of the seaweed from this file and the bubbles.
As additional accents I used the Underwater scene.

Please note! I decided to assemble the large piece of coral and then as I was putting together my shadowbox I decided to manually cut it and use it in a few different spots in my shadowbox.

Here are a few closeups of my shadowbox:

Here's a look at the bedding I was matching:

Hope you liked my shadowbox today. This will be featured as my Design Team Challenge project for Miss Kate Cuttables. The theme this month is Anything Goes! Stop over on the Galleria to join the fun. You can also check out all the design team projects on the Miss Kate Cuttables Blog.

Shadow Box

Hope your fall is going great! It's challenge time on the Miss Kate Cuttables Galleria Facebook Page. The theme for this month is any combo of fall colors including
orange, brown, yellow, gold, red and green.

For my project I'm sharing a shadow box I made for my great nephew Bryce.

I used the Baby Racoon SVG.

and last but not least the Baby Bear SVG.

Here's an angled look so you can see all the layering. I use foam core and foam tape to bump up portions of the shadow box.

Thanks for stopping by today and hope you find some time to do some fall crafting!

Fancy Frame Shadowbox

Hello! I love creating shadowboxes for newlyweds. It makes a perfect wedding gift.
I have made a bunch of these and usually use a bracket style file. I was in the mood to try something new on this one.

After searching Flourishes/Frames Category on the Miss Kate website I spotted these Fancy Frames.

I used the one on the top left. I usually do not stretch files but in the case I wanted it a bit wider and when I did stretch in the Cameo Designer Edition Software it looked just fine. I did create a shadow of the pattern and also cut the bottom layer in white. Foam tape and foam core under the layers helps add dimension and give the shadow effect. I also added some pearl accents.

Hope you enjoyed my project! Stop back in a few days to check out the Miss Kate's October Challenge.

August Challenge - Miss Kate Cuttables

Hi Everyone. I'm sharing my Miss Kate Cuttable's Challenge Project today. The theme for August's Challenge is "BABY". When I go to a baby shower I like to create a shadowbox for the baby's room.

I go on to the Mom-to-be's baby registry to get an idea of the theme and color scheme for the room.
For this one it was pink and white. I leave a space for the baby's photo.

I used the Owl from the OWL HOLDING EASTER EGG SVG file. (I did not cut the egg)
The arrow is from VALENTINE ARROW SET.
The background is from LAYERED LABEL SET.

Here is a close up of the cute owl.

Stop over on the MKC Galleria FB Page to join the challenge and get all the details,
