Superhero Baby Shower

Hello Everyone. I'm up on the Miss Kate Cuttable's Blog and sharing my Superhero Shadowbox.

Stop by the MKC Blog for my project details.

I made this for my coworker who is expecting her own little superhero. She decorated the baby's room in a superhero theme. She also carried the theme into her baby shower.

Here's a look at the shower:

The room was festive with bright colors and superhero balloons

Prize for games

These cupcakes were delicious and the rings worked in the theme perfectly

We of course had cookies

Lollipops with capes made out felt ~ so creative

Checking out the collage I made :)

Here's the super cute Mom to be - check out her superhero outfit!

Another Wedding Shadow Box

Hello Everyone - It’s been quite some time since I blogged!

My summer has been super busy and seems like we are always on the go which has been fun. I have a few scrapbook weekends scheduled. Summer is always a blast but I do look forward to crafty time in the fall.

Here is a shadowbox I created for my Miss Kate Cuttable’s Design team project:

I love the sparkle in the invite and made the shadowbox elements match.

For my background cut I used Miss Kate Cuttable’s Decorative Doily.
I added some foam core under the bottom layer to pop it off and add some "shadows" to the box.

I also popped off the invite and added some flowers and leaves from this Flower Group.
Here’s a closeup look:

Stop by the Miss Kate Cuttable’s Blog for lots of inspiration.

There is a fun challenge that will be posted soon.

Wedding Invitation Shadow Boxes

Hello, It's been awhile since I blogged. Life has been busy and we spent a wonderful week at the beach (lots of great beach photos to scrap!)

Hope you are having a great day today and Fourth of July Weekend.

It is wedding season and I have a few wedding shadow boxes to share today. These make great gifts for wedding showers or for the wedding. You could also display at the wedding on a nice stand.

My first one was a wedding featuring light purple roses and gerber daisies.
((Click on the image - get a closer look is well worth the click!))

I used the 3D Rose flowers from SVG Cuts’ Crush On You Boxes SVG Kit.
The other flowers are from 3D Flowers SVG Kit.
There are great tutorials showing how to assemble.

I used my go to most favorite bracket for this one. It’s from SVG Cuts’ Memory Garden Designer Page SVG Kit.

The second wedding theme was all about rustic. Burlap, Babies Breath, and Neutral Colors.

They had a K + G theme going throughout so I matched the K + G and cut it on my Cameo using white heat transfer vinyl.
I then ironed it on the burlap to create a border across the bottom.

Here’s a closer look:

These two wedding themes were completely different - that’s what makes a customized gift perfect!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Irish Recipes

Hi Everyone - I'm up on the Miss Kate Cuttable Blog today.
I have some Irish Recipes to share with you today.
Perfect for St. Patrick's Day or if you live in an Irish home like me you can enjoy these year round!
I thought it would be fun to include these in with a Bridal Shower Gift for future generations.

For my project I have a set of three recipes:

I aded a grommet to the corner of each and added a ring. I finished it off with some ribbon.

Here are the files I used:

Cards For You

WOW! It has been quite some time since I have blogged. Life has been a bit busy for me. I just came back from Las Vegas where I spent the week for work. It was a great time but I am sure glad to be back home with my family.

While I was away my SVG Design Team project was posted. Thought I'd share a few photos with you. I created 3 different cards and little card box to put them in. I thought this would make a perfect gift for someone. Include a pretty pen and some stamps and they'll be ready to roll!

Here is the box! It was a former recipe box so it even has the tabs to separate out the cards. Stop by the SVG Cuts Blog for all the details and more photos!

I am hoping to find some crafty time real soon - look at these beauties - free gift from SVG Cuts with purchase. Aren't they so pretty? Stop by and pick up the Cotton Tail Village SVG Kit today!

Have a great week!

Grad Party Gift

I am heading to a Grad Party today and thought hmmm...maybe I'll make a card then thought maybe I will make a 3D creation for the graduate.

So here is what I came up with ~ it’s a gift box at the bottom and added the 3D Graduation Cap which I plan to fill with goodies and I added a 3D M for not only the grad’s initial but also the school mascot (Mustangs). I used the school colors throughout the project.

So here is how it all came together:

~ STEP 1 ~

Started with the Glove Box from the Mothers Garden SVG Kit from SVG Cuts. I cut it at 100%.

I added a ribbon in the dark purple. Papers are from Basic Grey Shine On. I picked it up at Joanns - was so excited to see Joanns carrying Basic Grey 12x12 paper pads!

~ STEP 2 ~

Cut and assemble the Grad Cap from SVG Cuts’ Graduation Day SVG Kit. I also cut at 100%.

It cut perfect on my Sizzix Eclips & I watched the assembly video which also gave tips on creating the tassle from embroidery floss. It was so incredibly easy to put together. I am going to put some candies in the cap.

~ STEP 3 ~

And last but not least thought it needed a little something to balance out the design so I cut a 3D “M” from SVG Cuts’ 3D Letters Kit. This is about 3" high.

I adhered the cap box and 3D M to the glove box with hot glue.

If you are going to a grad party try one of these for the graduate!

Have you spotted the latest kit from SVG Cuts?
Oh it is just perfect for all your summer crafting projects.

Have a great weekend!
