Howdy Partner!

Have you seen the latest Kit from SVG Cuts? ~
it’s AMAZING! It’s the Happy Trails SVG Kit and here is a look at all the elements:

I just love the 3D boot - so darn cute. I was in the mood to do some scrapping today so I decided to take all the elements and create a layout.

This page documents our Cub Scout banquet from last year. We had a western theme and each year the buys bake & decorate a cake to follow the theme. They really had fun making and eating the cakes.

Here are a few close ups: I used the print and cut of the little cowboy on my Cameo. After that was done I switched to my Eclips and cut the rest of the elements.

I used the freebie from yesterday on the little tag. You can grab the freebie here.

So if you are not into the 3D elements just goes to show they have plenty of elements for scrapbooking included in the kit! I just started doing scrapbook sketches. Here is one for today's layout. Go ahead and download for future use.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Tag You’re It!

I recently found a great FB Page that called Crafty Swaps and Challenges. Who doesn’t like a good swap and challenge? I decided to join in the Christmas Tag swap. Here is the tag I created. I made 6 total and sent to the host's address along with a self-addressed envelope. She will then gather them up and send them all out. Can't wait for that mail day!

I used the cute store front from SVG Cuts Christmas Cheer SVG Kit. The little poinsettas are stampables and I used the Punkin Patch Stamps Gingerbread Kisses. Just cut them on my Sizzix Eclips and then stamped away.

I finished these up at a crop I attended over the weekend. It is called Crop Around the Clock - 139 people all scrapping at the same time. It runs from Friday noon to Sunday at 6pm! I cropped Friday and Saturday and got alot of pages and projects completed.  Can’t wait to share with you.

Check out the awesome giveaway on SVG Cuts FB Page -
they have lots of Epiphany Craft goodies to giveaway!

No Tricks Just Treats

Happy First day of Autumn! As soon as Leo and Mary released the lasted collection (Spooky Cuties SVG Collection) I got to work on a Trick or Treat Layout.

Here is the ghost and bat.

I added a shadow to the spider and some twine for a web.

And of course the pumpkins were so very fun.
I used a fine point pen to draw the mouths. Eyes along with all the other elements were cut on my Sizzix Elcips.

The Trick or Treat Title is a freebie from 10/31/09.

The banners and bottom scallop are from last weeks Kit - Toil and Trouble SVG Kit.
Hope your first day of Fall is a great one. Thanks for stopping by today!

Hey everyone ~ Hope your weekend is going great. We are wrapping up an ATC (Artist Trading Card) Swap over on the SVG Cuts Forum. Theme for this time around was back to school. Here are the ones I sent out.

I used the owl freebie from SVG Cuts - 2/4/12. Pick em up if you don't already have them. I cut them on my Sizzix and used some Basic Grey paper ~ Oxford line.

Not only are the ATCs fun to make but they are so fun to get in the mail.
Here is a look at some of the cool ATCs I received. I was in Group 1.
These are from Erin T, Veronica H and Debra V.

These ATCS are from Laura M, Trina S, Elizabeth S & Linda H.
These swaps are really catching on over on the forum
The next swap was just posted today - Halloween theme.

Back to School Layout

I have a back to school layout to share with you today. My boys started back to school today and I took the day off to share in their special day. We had a very exciting morning and at 8:30 they jumped on the bus.

Well after that I decided to spend some time in my craft room with my Sizzix Eclips and did a layout of the morning. Here is what I came up with.

I layed out the journaling on my computer and printed out and cut into strips. Also did the little subtitles the same way.

Here’s a look at the Title:

I used a combination of two of Mary of SVG Cuts layouts for mine. I took the background elements & film strip from the latest Football Party SVG Kit. Here is a look at the layout that comes in this kit:

I took a bunch of the Back to School elements from SVG Cut’s Kit called School Days Kit.
Here is a look at that layout. Just goes to show you can mix and match elements to customize to what you are scrapping!

The first day was a big success....and I’m sure the week will continue to be great! Hope you have a great week too.

Fall Tree Card

So have you seen the latest kit from SVG Cuts? It is amazing. I love FALL and this kit is perfect for some fall crafting!

I am not a big card maker but when I saw the Colorful Trees Card from the Fall Harvest SVG Kit I had to make it. I made it for my Mother-In-Law’s Birthday today.

I printed the sentiment on my new printer - the Epson 1430. It is wireless so I can print from anywhere in the house!

I did get some inspiration for this card from the recent JUGS Challenge. The challenge this week is to use your ribbon scraps. I had a 6" fall ribbon that I used to accent the front and also add a horizontal strip to the 3rd panel.

Here is the card all folded up - fits perfect in the envelope I cut from the SVG Kit
Card was cut with my Sizzix Eclips.

Here is a look at the entire Fall Harvest SVG Kit - Don’t you love it?
Make a purchase of $9.98 or more between now and Thursday, August 16th 2012. This gift is a $6.99 Value!

Happy Sunday to you!

Wine & A Winner

I have a wine box to share with you today. When I go to a wedding I always give money to the bride and groom that way they can put it towards what they want. I like to give them something else to go along with it. How perfect is this wine box holding a bottle of their favorite wine?

I used papers from DCWV for this one  - they are from the Bella Armoire stack.
I cut the box and and hand cut the little square and rectangle shapes from the stack.

The little butterflies are from Creative Charms.

On my last post I showed you my Hot Box and Tag and offered up a giveaway. Thanks everyone for your comments!
I selected a winner and lucky number 13 won!

Congrats to Renee!

I will be sending over your SVG Cuts Gift Card via email. Maybe you will want to pick up some goodies this week so you can get Camp Smore SVG Kit free with purchase. Can't wait to start cutting these ~ perfect for my two little Cub Scouts.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

It’s Hot!

I hope everyone had a happy & safe 4th of July! I don’t know about your area but it sure was hot in Pittsburgh, PA. Here is a little project I crafted over the weekend. I am always looking for gifts for my 20/30 year old nieces and nephews. Gift cards can get a bit boring. With Summer Vacation coming up thought this gift would be prefect for some margaritas!

So normally I would just do a gift tag ~ see photo on left.
But instead I made the cute box in the latest SVG Cuts Classic Gift Boxes SVG Kit (Free this week with Purchase!)
I just reduced all the elements down to fit the smaller bottle.
I also used the pen tool in Ecal to create panels for all the sides and cut Imaginisce paper on my Sizzix Eclips.

Here is a close up of my tag - both are Freebies from SVG Cuts
The Pepper and Hot are a freebie from 8/29/11
The Tag is from 12/17/11

I just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who stops by my blog and Facebook Page!

How about a HOT GIVEAWAY?

Please leave me a comment and I'll pick a winner on Saturday 7/7 Noon for a $10.00 SVG Cuts Gift Card!
