Howdy Partner!

Have you seen the latest Kit from SVG Cuts? ~
it’s AMAZING! It’s the Happy Trails SVG Kit and here is a look at all the elements:

I just love the 3D boot - so darn cute. I was in the mood to do some scrapping today so I decided to take all the elements and create a layout.

This page documents our Cub Scout banquet from last year. We had a western theme and each year the buys bake & decorate a cake to follow the theme. They really had fun making and eating the cakes.

Here are a few close ups: I used the print and cut of the little cowboy on my Cameo. After that was done I switched to my Eclips and cut the rest of the elements.

I used the freebie from yesterday on the little tag. You can grab the freebie here.

So if you are not into the 3D elements just goes to show they have plenty of elements for scrapbooking included in the kit! I just started doing scrapbook sketches. Here is one for today's layout. Go ahead and download for future use.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Western Theme Collage

Here is a Western-Themed Baby Name Collage I created. I get the frames at Joanns - they are approximately 19 x 9. I then start layering elements. On this one I picked up some precut chipboard letters at a recent crop made by Bo Bunny.

The boot is a freebie from SVG Cuts (8/18/10). Horseshoe from SVG Cuts Grandpa’s Organic Farm. I made the wagon wheel in ECal by welding a circle to rectangles. Same with the sheriff stars - welded circles to a basic star shape. All cut on my Sizzix eclips.

Give it a click for a closer look:

The frame on the far right is one of my latest favorite SVGs - it is from SVG Cuts - Winter Bliss. I love it because it cuts the holes within the frame and you can easily thread twine or ribbon thru.

I also added some jute to this collage to give it more of a western feel. Thanks for stopping by today ~ have a good one!
