Back to School Layout

My boys are starting back to school today and I have a layout to share! These are pics from 2017.

I used the Miss Kate Cuttables Apple on Books SVG. I only used two of the books for my layout. I added their names and grades to the books with the pen tool on my Cameo.

I used the Miss Kate Cuttables Paper for my project! The papers are AMAZING!

It is called School Days - Paper Pack.

I used a Close to my Heart Flip Flap to add the Back to School Chalkboard.

I also added some photos to back of panel.

School Layout ~ MKC Challenge

Hey there! It's Miss Kate Cuttables Challenge time again. This month is ANYTHING GOES!

If you signed up for my emails you may have seen a little sneak peek of this layout since I had by blogger settings a bit off.

For my project I made a single page layout for the last day of school. I only took one photo so I used a bunch of SVGs to embellish the page. I also used quite a bit of white space on the layout.

I used the Last Day of School SVG for this layout.

Once I had everything cut out I rearranged the elements on my layout.

I added a few strips of patterned paper to anchor the elements and added a few colorful enamel dots.

Christmas in July!

Hello! Hope your summer is going great! We had family in from out of town so it's been a fun couple of weeks at my house!

Today's my day to share on the Miss Kate Cuttable's Blog and thought I'd do a Christmas in July post.

I used portions of the Santa Claus Word Art for my layout.

I created a shadow for the title & the Santa.

Cupcake Toppers

Hope you had a Happy 4th of July! I made some fun patriotic cupcake toppers for the 4th and they are perfect for this month's Miss Kate Cuttable's Patriotic Challenge.

I used the following Miss Kate Cuttables Files:

Happy 4th of July Title,  America Banner, Sweet Land of Liberty,

Fireworks Blast

I just printed two images side by side, folded in half and hot glued the toothpick in.

Take A Hike!

Hello ~ It's my turn to share on the Miss Kate Cuttable's Blog! 

As my son is getting older he's taking on more responsibilities within his Boy Scout Troop. It's so fun to watch as he takes on leadership roles and helps the younger scouts.

The troop was going working on their Hiking Merit badge and my son Will was in charge of finding the location and making the arrangements. 

I created a scrapbook layout to capture the memories...

I used the TAKE A HIKE SVG COLLECTION:


How perfect are those files?

Here's the title

Love the Hiking Boots! (also love the photo of the leader and my son looking at the map)

I added the compass as an element - I thought it balanced out the circle on the right page nicely.

Under the Sea!

This month's challenge for Miss Kate Cuttables is "Sea Creatures". There are some seriously cute sea creatures in the Miss Kate files and the Design team did an amazing job!

For my project I created a few cards featuring the Sea Turtle SVG

A Few Layouts

Hi There! It's my turn to share on the Miss Kate Cuttable's Blog! I have two layouts today.

For my first page I have a Soccer Layout:

I used the Love Soccer Title for my layout.

I did not want to cover up the cool patterned paper so I kept the title and a few photos the focus on the page.

For my second layout I used the Ticket To Fun SVG

Here's the layout. I used some of my son's snapchat images to mix it up a bit.
