MiniGolf

It is that time of year when golfers young and old like to hit the course and hopefully get a hole in one. I happen to have two young golfers who just love golfing on vacation. We are just learning so we usually go out early in the morning before the crowds come and that way we can take our time.

Here is my scrapbook layout capturing our minigolf fun.

Here is a little closeup of some ribbons I added to the bottom of the pages -
great way to use up your scraps!

Check out this little guy I added  - I cut him on my Sizzix Eclips - he is from SVG Cuts - Taylor’s Team SVG Collection.
If you scrap sports then this is a perfect collection - it features Basketball, Baseball, Soccer and Tennis plus a whole lot more.

On this page I shadowed and welded my title to a horizontal strip and layered on the title.
If you have minigolf to scrap go ahead and grab it here!

Hope you have a great weekend and don't forget to stop by the SVG Cuts site today to check out the new Kit - it is fabulous and you will not want to miss it!

Grad Party Gift

I am heading to a Grad Party today and thought hmmm...maybe I'll make a card then thought maybe I will make a 3D creation for the graduate.

So here is what I came up with ~ it’s a gift box at the bottom and added the 3D Graduation Cap which I plan to fill with goodies and I added a 3D M for not only the grad’s initial but also the school mascot (Mustangs). I used the school colors throughout the project.

So here is how it all came together:

~ STEP 1 ~

Started with the Glove Box from the Mothers Garden SVG Kit from SVG Cuts. I cut it at 100%.

I added a ribbon in the dark purple. Papers are from Basic Grey Shine On. I picked it up at Joanns - was so excited to see Joanns carrying Basic Grey 12x12 paper pads!

~ STEP 2 ~

Cut and assemble the Grad Cap from SVG Cuts’ Graduation Day SVG Kit. I also cut at 100%.

It cut perfect on my Sizzix Eclips & I watched the assembly video which also gave tips on creating the tassle from embroidery floss. It was so incredibly easy to put together. I am going to put some candies in the cap.

~ STEP 3 ~

And last but not least thought it needed a little something to balance out the design so I cut a 3D “M” from SVG Cuts’ 3D Letters Kit. This is about 3" high.

I adhered the cap box and 3D M to the glove box with hot glue.

If you are going to a grad party try one of these for the graduate!

Have you spotted the latest kit from SVG Cuts?
Oh it is just perfect for all your summer crafting projects.

Have a great weekend!
