A Fall Wedding Invitation Collage

I just love fall and I just love how Creative Charms has the perfect products for my projects! They have a great feature on their site. You can sort by color. I sorted by Orange & Brown and it was so incredibly easy to find the perfect embellishments for my project.

I started with the invitation. Visited my local Scrapbook Store, The Crop Shop for the perfect paper. I try and pick some solids along with patterned paper. (Can't go wrong with Bo Bunny)

Frame is from Joanns. I cut the background papers on my Cricut using SCAL Software and files from SVG Cuts. I added dimension under the scallop shapes and invite and finished it off with my brown and orange goodies from Creative Charms.

A few closeups:

Try shopping by color on your next project - works perfect!

More Bride Journals

A few weeks back I shared a few Bride Journals - I finished the entire batch and we attended the bridal show last week. It was so much fun & an exciting day.

The brides visited our booth and I gave them these journals. In some cases I had a journal that matched their wedding colors. Seems like Black and White Weddings are in store in 2011 - I’ll know to make more for the next bridal show!

My friend and business partner Leslie got into our photo booth with David Tutera from the reality TV show My Fair Wedding. Needless to say she was so excited!

Sharing a Collage & Thanks!

Now that I am working full time I don’t have as much time to create SVGs, Craft or even post to my blog. Thanks for continuing to visit my blog. I just glanced at my followers and can’t even believe I am 1 away from 200! WOW!

One of the greatest compliments that makes my day is getting a photo from someone who said they were inspired by one of my creations. Check out this beautiful collage by Shelly. Please visit her blog to check out her wonderful creations!

Thanks again for visiting.

Outdoor Wedding Collage

Yet another wedding invite collage. This one was a bit of a challenge - an outdoor casual wedding with green & brown as the colors. I seem to do better with black and white and the traditional wedding colors. But I like how this one came together.

I started with a full sheet paper that already had “Happily Ever After” on it - got it Joanns. I featured the “B” monogram from the bottom of the wedding invite.

I also featured the hydrangeas from SVG Cuts and used Creative Charms Gradient Gems on the middle of the flowers and also used some Antique Brads. (sorry photo is a bit fuzzy)

Have a great weekend!

Bride Journals

Here are some bride journals I have been working on. I plan to make 50 of these for a bridal show I’ll be attending with my photo booth (Ham It Up!). These are so fun to make.

I bought the journals for $1.50 at Target (Pittsburgh area is all sold out thanks to me). Added papers and embellishments from Creative Charms.

For this first one I followed a sketch from Just Us Girls.

And here are a few others that I’ve done:

A Door Hanger & Quick Note

We were heading to a birthday party and I created this Hello Kitty card/door hanger for on the present. I hand cut the the Hello Kitty from the birthday invite and added some paper, ribbons & embellishments from Creative Charms.

I tied to the gift bag with some silly bands.

Check out Creative Charms site - they upgraded their site, have new products and now offer Mini Deals for the Countryside and Dream Garden collections.

Happy Labor Day! Amy

Harley Collage

And now for something completely different...I started out doing the baby name collages, moved on to the wedding invite collages and now I am expanding my horizons.

I created this collage for a dear friend & coworker of mine. She lost her husband in an accident last year and they are having a benefit bike run.

I created this Harley Collage using a 20 x 9 1inch deep shadowbox frame. (from Joanns) I cut the logo on the Cricut using SCAL along with the flames. I picked up two magnets and a key chain from my local Harley Shop to add in. I also cut apart a map and featured maps of Daytona & Sturgis (hope my husband does not miss those from his atlas :) )

It was fun creating something a bit different using the shadowbox. Hoping Michele has a successful bike run and hope this brings in lots of Auction bids!
