Print & Cut

I am so excited about SCAL 2.038's new print and cut feature. I have been playing around with it. I made these Valentine Tags. I used SVGs Candy Cherub Bears and heart from another collection. I added the white stitch marks to the file. The feature works perfect when you have to make mass quantities.

I also used a digi image for the girl. I tried to cut it along the edge but could not get it to cut perfect. I added a white outline and added some inking around the edge.

Winter Wonderland Scrapbook

I had a wedding last night with my photo booth business (Ham It Up Photo Booth) and it was an absolute blast. The theme was Winter Wonderland ~ Cobalt Blue/Silver/White.

I made a 20 page scrapbook for the bride and groom. The photo strips from the booth go in the scrapbook and the guests add a note to the bride & groom.

SVG Cuts Design Team

I have some exciting news to share! I have been selected to join the SVG Cuts Design Team. I am a regular on their forum and love their SVG Files. I import their files into SCAL (Sure Cuts Alot) and cut on the Cricut.

I am joining Thienly & Cheryl on the team. Tamara has also been appointed to the team. Check out their wonderful blogs!

For my first few projects I am going to do some collages & scrapbook pages since those are what I do best :) I am sure I will venture into some other projects.

Christmas Bags & Boxes

Hope you had a wonderful holiday! We sure did at our house ~ we had Santa visit our home on Thursday and had Christmas Eve & Christmas Day at our home! It sure was fun.

I had some time to create these gift bags & pillow box before all the festivities. These were all cut on the Cricut using SCAL. They are from the SVG Cuts Christmas Bags & Boxes Collection.



This first one features The Joy Star Bag. I accented with Gradient Gems & Brads from Creative Charms.

This is the Pillow Box from the SVG Cuts Christmas Bags & Boxes Collection. I used the banners from the Joy Star Box to create the name. I added some Creative Charm Gradient Gems.

This is the Presents Bag from the same collection. I also cut the manger scene from the O Holy Night Collection. I added CC Pearls to accent the bag.

Family Reunion Layout

Hope your Holiday Preparations are going smoothly!

I just love how the background turned out on this Family Reunion Layout. It is from the Cruising Caravan collection from SVG Cuts. The “FAMILY” type is from the same collection and I cut a font on my computer for “reunion”.


Here is a closeup of a stamp from the same collection. I added some inking and some Creative Charms Vintage Marble Brads to the corners of the layout.
