My Beach Bums

Head on over to SVG Cuts to check out my design team project. All the details on how I took an 8x10 photo of my beach bums, some great SVG Cuts files and shells and created this shadowbox frame. 12x12 frame from Joanns.

Aarrgh!

Ahoy Mateys! I have a pirate themed invite to share with you today. Every year we have an Adult Cousin’s Party and all the first cousins and their adult kids come.


I started with the PDF of this treasure map from Disney Family Fun - it is a free printable. I took the map into Photoshop and added texture & shading.

I then added the wording: Check out this site - has pirate phrases - I stole a few.

Finished it off with an eye patch cut on my Cricut from SVG Cuts. There is entire Kit called Pirate Birthday Party SVG Kit. It has lots of goodies and I plan to make some items for my Cousin’s Party.

Summertime!

I've been super busy since getting back from vacation. I did find some time to make these Summertime ATCs for the SVG Cuts Forum Swap.




I used shells I gathered from the beach. Unfortunately I did not bubble wrap them when I sent and Beth got a crushed shell in her envelope :( . Lesson learned...next time use the bubble wrap.

Now for the details. I used SVG Cuts Tropical Friends Collection. I also used Creative Charms Gradient Gems, Vintage Jewel Brads & Gradient Pearl Stickers. Twine is from The Twinery.

I am keeping my summertime vibe going even though I am not on the beach collecting shells.

BW Collage with Bright Flowers

Hey everyone - I have a wedding invitation collage to share with you today. The invitation is black and white with teal accents. I also incorporated the colorful wedding party flowers in the shadowbox frame.



I thought I would incorporate Creative Charms Gradient Gems (Black & White) to tie in the flowers into the black & white theme of the invitation. It not only accents the flowers but also added them in varying sizes to the scallop I cut on the Cricut. Scallop is from SVG Cuts - Cruising Caravan Scrapbook Pages SVG Kit. Flowers are from Martha Stewart Crafts.

Happy Birthday at the beach

Hi Everyone - I've been away for awhile - we spent 10 days at the beach and had a great time. Love summer vaca!
