Scarf & Gloves

Thought I would share my very first project that features fabric cut on the Cricut. I went on You Tube and did a search for a tutorial. There are alot of great videos on the subject. Joann's sells the plain fleece scarf and gloves.

My great-niece calls my sister-in-law Laura (her Grandma) La La so I did a play on words and featured "fa la la" on the scarf. The tree is from SVG Cuts and the type was done in Illustrator and imported into SCAL. The snowflakes are just trimmed with scissors. I added some stitching under the trees and added some accent buttons.

I started out with some easy cuts but from what I've read you can do some intricate cuts with fabric...will have to experiment.

These would make great gifts for teachers!
