Summer Travels

My husband is a teacher and came home this week with a bunch of requests for teachers who are retiring. I always ask about their hobbies and he said his coworker Sharon is really looking forward to traveling. Well thanks to SVG Cuts I had the perfect project to make for her!

This little suitcase is from the latest SVG Cuts Kit ~ Summer Holiday SVG Kit.

It was really easy to put together and makes a perfect little gift holder.
I used the Congrats from Five Minute Cards SVG Kit. I added some stitching and attached the luggage tag with Trendy Twine.

I also make some quick Thank You Cards for the Scout leaders. This time of the year I make alot of Thank you cards and this one is so easy and fun. It is from SVG Cuts ~ Five Minute Cards SVG Kit. I am loving the Authentique Papers - it is from the Carefree Line. I accented with some Trendy Twine and used by Epiphany Craft tool.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.

SVG Cuts ~ Day 3

Hey there - Hope the start of your weekend is going great. I hit the craft room early today and made some gift card holders for my 12 Days of Christmas project. I used the Epiphany Shape Tools today and that's what SVG Cuts is giving away on Day 3 of their 12 Days Of Christmas.

I used the latest Kit from SVG Cuts ~ Everyday Winter Card SVG Kit. SVG Cuts kits are so versatile - just by switching up the papers and embellishments these cards can be used for all seasons. This one would even work for a Birthday.
I used the Epiphany Round 25 Toll for the "O" in "FOR". Papers are from My Minds Eye - 12 Days of Christmas Collection. I cut the little logo off the bottom of the paper and added to the cards.

This one uses the freebie bow from SVG Cuts - it is from 2/25/12. Go grab it if you don't already have it.
I used the Epiphany Crafts Square 25 tool to accent the middle of the bow.

On this one I added some Trendy Twine to accent.

The gift card fits quite nicely in the card.

Stop on over at the SVG Cuts Site and enter to win this Epiphany Crafts Bundle - that's a whole lot of goodies there!

While you are over there pick up the latest kit ~ Everyday Winter Cards SVG Kit.

Enjoy your weekend and thanks so much for stopping by.
I am off to do some Princess Face Painting at my great nieces 3rd Birthday!

Fa-Boo-Lous Guest Designer

Woo hoo! I am so excited to be a guest designer for the Fa-Boo-Lous Halloween Inspiration Week! We love Halloween in our house and look forward  to the entire month of October to celebrate.
I created a fun countdown which starts today at 4 weeks away.

Each treat holder counts down the weeks and also did a holder for the day before and Halloween day.
I used the tombstone box from SVG Cuts latest kit ~ Gimme Candy Boxes SVG Kit.
smalltombstone.svg is cut to 9.327" wide x 4.952" high
insertfortombstone.svg is cut to 9.336" wide x 3.471" high

I also used the Spooky Cuties SVG Collection to accent the treat holders.
All cut on my Sizzix eclips.

I removed the glass from a 12x12 Shadow box frame and once the treat holders were assembled I hot glued them in.
I designed the countdown dates in Adobe Illustrator and used the
Epiphany Crafts Tool to create them.

Here’s a look at each countdown holder and what I placed inside:

A cool tool!

Hey everyone. I tried a cool new tool on my latest Shadowbox Collage.
Thanks to Tamara Tripodi - Happy Life Crafty Wife who sent me a super cool

It worked perfect!

I printed out my wording and used the tool. It was really easy and I just love the look of this compared to regular print on paper. I used the square 25 tool.

I made this for a lovely lady at work who retired. She loves her family, home, gardens and will now be making a few more trips than usual to the local casino. :)
Aren't these papers pretty? They are Hello Sunshine by Bo Bunny. So bright and cheery.

Here is a look at the flowers. They are from SVG Cuts Every Day Cards.
