First Challenge of 2018

Happy New to you! I had a great holiday - it was so nice to have a break from work and spend time with my family and friends.  Hope your holiday was fantastic too!

I'm back on the blog today sharing a layout for Miss Kate Cuttables. It's for the first challenge of 2018 and the theme is "Anything Goes".
I created a layout from an ice skating trip we took to Pittsburgh in Jan 2017.
(Yep, I'm only 1 year behind, not bad considering I started a full time job last year at this time!)

I used the Ice Skating Title from Miss Kate Cuttables.
It had holly surrounding it and I decided to leave those off since we went in Jan.

This little cutie is called Ice Skating Penguin. Isn't he adorable?

Thanks for dropping by today and don't forget to enter the Miss Kate Cuttables Anything Goes Challenge on the Galleria Facebook Page.

Christmas Layout

Hello - It's the last challenge of the year for Miss Kate Cuttables! Theme is anything holiday.

For my project I created a Christmas Layout.

Here is a closeup of the truck on my layout.

My Cameo did an amazing job cutting the delicate pine border at the top of my layout.
It's from the file called Christmas Borders.

Stop by the Miss Kate Cuttables Blog to check out the Design Team Projects.
Projects are also posted on the Facebook page along with all the Challenge details.

This will be my last post of the year.
Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas!
Thanks for coming along my creative journey :)

Happy Thanksgiving Cards

Hello - Hard to believe Thanksgiving is almost here! Today I am sharing on the Miss Kate Cuttables Blog! I wanted to create some Thanksgiving cards for all our family out of state and had so much fun and was on a roll that even created for the family close by.

It is super easy to create cards using the print and cut method. I selected the Thankful Phrase file for my cards.

They were really easy to put together in assembly line style.

I added some strips of paper to accent my envelopes. I was in the mood to do some calligraphy so all cards are hand addressed.

Don't forget to check out the "Free Stuff" Page on the Miss Kate Cuttables Website - lots of good stuff!

Miss Kate Layout

Hi All! Before I get into the details of my layout just a reminder to grab the Freebie of the Week on the Miss Kate Cuttables site.

As Hurricane Irma is making its way toward the Keys it makes me think of all the amazing dolphins and wonderful people who work at The Dolphin Research Center. My niece Sarah is a Trainer there. I'm hoping everyone is safe including the dolphins.

I visited the Dolphin Research Center when I went to the Keys for Sarah and Phil's (my nephew) wedding.

Here is my layout capturing all the memories:

I used the Splish Splash Title for my layout and the Wave Borders.

The cute Dolphin Silhouette was a perfect addition to my layout.
(those two lovely ladies are my great nieces)

Prayers to all who are impacted by the Hurricane!
