Cuddly Animals Collection & Giveaway from SVG Cuts

Check out these cuties. I cut these and pieced for a baby name collage I am working on. Will share it when I am done. These are part of the SVG Cuts Cuddly Animals Collection.

I was going to work on the collage along with a bunch of other projects at an all day crop today. Due to 2 feet of snow outside the crop was postponed!

While visiting SVG Cuts just noticed
they are giving away a Cuttlebug and other prizes!

Shamrock with Swirls

The Valentines are addressed and the treat bags are done. So we're on to St. Patrick's Day. I'm surrounded by Irish in my family (everyone but me).

I did a heart with swirls (on the right panel) and it was downloaded 579 times as of today. Guess you all liked it!?! So I did a Shamrock with Swirls.

Here are the elements on the SVG:

Here is the final product. Would make a cute addition to a card or scrapbook page.

FYI ~ the swirly shamrock piece is a bit tricky to glue - I would recommend a Zig Pen or a shot of Spray Mount for adhesive.

Birthday Card for SVG Cuts Swap

I joined in my first card swap. It is over at the SVG Cuts forum. They are a great group and talented crafters.

The theme was birthday. I used elements from SVG Cuts Birthday Collection and the stitched frame is from the Winter Bliss Collection. It has some great frames and backgrounds that can be used year round. Background paper is from BoBunny.

The next swap is already posted on the forum - a farm theme - go check it out & join in!
Did you see this Cuddly Animals collection from SVG Cuts? These would look great on a farm themed card or scrapbook page. I already got mine.

100th Day of School Title

Today is my oldest son's 100th day of school. He is in Kindergarten and I did not realize what a special day this is. They have a day of events planned to celebrate. Not sure if they celebrate this in your child's/grandkid's school.

I did this title for a scrap book page.

Click here for the SVG DOWNLOAD.

There are two versions in the Zip file. One that has the 100 stars and confetti and one without incase you don't want to deal with all those stars and confetti.

I found these cool stars and confetti in Illustrator under "Window" "Symbol Libraries" "Celebration". I just discovered all these Symbols in Illustrator! You just drag them to your artwork then go to "Object" "Expand" and it converts it to a path and you can cut on the Cricut. Try it out if you use Illustrator!

Sketch Challenge - Doodle Dragon Studios

I am loving the digi stamps, especially Dustin Pike's! They are having a sketch challenge on the Doodle Dragon Studios Challenge Blog.

Here is the sketch:

And here is my card:

I used Prismacolor pencils to color the digital image. The papers are TPC (The Paper Company) Studio. The cool frame around the digi stamps is from SVG Cuts - My Moms Attic Collection. I added small dots to the SVG around the edge, cut on the Cricut using SCAL and hand stitched in three different colors. I used embellishments from Creative Charms.

Here is a close up:

Thanks for taking a look!

A Valentine Milkshake

I have another Valentine's SVG to share. My son picked out Valentine Bendy Straws (from Joann's) for his classmates.

I created this SVG and will cut it to go in the goodie bags. I am going to attach the straw so it looks like it is coming out the of the shake along with a pencil. Good thing there are only 20 kids in the class!?!

For the shake SVG click here to DOWNLOAD.
Have a great weekend!

Wedding Favor

I was taking a look at the little Valentine Box I made and thought it would make a cute wedding favor. It fits 12 Hershey Kisses so it is a good size. You can cut it on the Create (12 x 6).

The file already has the score lines in there so it is super easy to assemble and adding the cuts and embellishments was so fun. I used an embossed paper for my house - from K & Company.

I printed the Bride & Groom's names and the wedding date for the side panel. The top panels (roof of the house) have the Guest's names and Table #. I printed the type on my printer.

I used files from SVG Cuts for the cut files.
Here are the details on the SVG Cuts files I used:
Scalloped Edge - Freebie from 11/18/09
Rose Flowers - Freebie from 1/21/10
Scalloped Frame - From Christmas Cookie Party Collection
Leaves for Roses - 3D Mums & Fall Flowers Collection
I made the door with the heart cutout.

This uses the same house structure as the Small Valentine House. If you missed it click here to DOWNLOAD.

I've already received a request for a St. Patty's Day house and an Easter house. Hope you are not getting tired of these houses!
