Sweet Treats

Yum! While I was off for Thanksgiving I created some sweet treats to give away for the holidays. I can always remember my Mom making chocolates so I decided to give it a try. It is really quite easy:

STEP 1

Hit the Store:
• Buy the chocolate in bulk (I made a 5lb bag) • Buy some candy papers • Buy the goodies to mix in

STEP 2

Start Making it:
• Melt the chocolate in bowl (I did for 1 min in the microwave) • Stir it, add goodies and fill the paper cups • I placed the paper cups in a mini muffin pan • Refrigerate for a bit and pack them up

Here is what I mixed in: • Rice Krispies • Mini Pretzels with Sprinkles • Peanuts • Coconut • Mixed Nuts
I also had some molds with an H on them - I put two in a paper for “Happy Holidays”

Don’t you hate when you bite into a chocolate and it is a mystery?
I do! I made a little key and made up cute names for my chocolates.
Here is a look at the art I printed out on my printer.

Here is a look at my completed boxes. I used the boxes from SVG Cuts Christmas Open House SVG Kit.
I added some other elements and cut Stampables from Punkin Patch Stamps and stamped the sentiments.

Papers are from Basic Grey - Aspen Frost. Love this line!

These were so fun to make - hope you give a try!

Have you seen my latest SVG Cuts Design Team Project? If not go check it out.
My boys are loving the elf on the shelf. The elf returns back to her home every morning.
