Die Cuttin' Divas Guest Designer

Hello - I've got some exciting news! I'm the guest designer for Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge Blog today. This week's challenge is a Birthday Theme.

Here is my card. I used the Happy Birthday Title file from Miss Kates. The print and cut was a perfect option for my card.

Here are a few additional cards I created. The Blow Out the Candles Title file was used for this one.

The Celebrate Title file was used for this card.

I hope you will stop over and join the challenge!

Thank You Card

Hello! Happy Friday. Die Cuttin' Divas has a thank you challenge this week. I just so happen to have a Thank you card to enter into the challenge. I plan to make more of these to have on hand. Nothing better than a handcrafted Thank you card to say "THANKS!"

I used the Thanks from this Miss Kate Card Phrases Set file

The arrow is from this Miss Kate's Valentine Arrow file.

Stop by on Tuesday. I'm guest designer for next week's Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge!

Guest Designer Die Cuttin’ Divas

I'm super excited to be guest designer at Die Cuttin’ Divas!

It’s Challenge #219 and the theme is National Aquarium Month.

I needed a summer theme banner for my mantle so I decided to make a mini banner with 3 panels.

First I started with some canvas I picked up at Joanns and trimmed the banner shapes with a rotary cutter.

I then ironed on the fusible web to the back of the fabric. I placed the fabric on my cutting mat and cut with my Cameo.

I cut the Miss Kate Cuttable’s Seahorse and Fish SVG File.
This simplistic file is perfect for cutting fabric. I did not cut the eyes from the file. I hot glued buttons instead.

Here is a closeup view of the banners:

I cut the blue fabric 1" wider than the canvas and double folded it over to finish off the edges.
I stitched down the sides and stitched ribbon across the top. I hot glued buttons on the ribbon to finish it off.
Here is a look at the back of the banners:

I hope you enjoyed my project. I would like to thank Die Cuttin’ Diva’s for having me as Guest Designer.
Stop on over to the Die Cuttin’ Diva’s Blog to check out the great Design Team Projects and enter the Aquarium Theme Challenge.
There are some great prizes up for grabs!
